Let’s teach our children how to not follow the way of the world with all of the adorning they put on to be pretty to feel accepted, let’s show them how it’s more important to look pretty on the inside than the outside and how their outside appearance does not constitute who they are. Have you ever thought of how it might be if we had to put clothes on our inner body like we do our outer body? Well I have, I just had a thought that made me wonder how people would including myself would dress. I know this sounds strange but hey I see different as exciting! After all, we do have a inner person that needs just as much attention dressing up as our outer person does if not more if you ask me. My thoughts for today.
1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
