When you’re working for someone else you are absolutely positively not at all, all the way free in your everyday life. Let me break it down: first off your’re at this place of work 8 full hrs per day M-F with a 30min lunch and 1-2 15min breaks. The 8hrs a day feels like you’re locked up and the breaks are just teasers because after the break is over you gotta go right back to jail! so to speak. I don’t knock anyone’s preference and what they prefer out of their life, if you want a 9-5 for the rest of your life then hey go for it, but as for me and anyone else who honestly appreciates their freedom and refuses to spend another day at a 9-5 M-F job I say GO AFTER WHAT YOU REALLY WANT OUT OF LIFE! IF YOU HAVE IDEAS THAT YOU CAN FORMAT INTO A BUSINESS DO IT! The way I see it is your freedom is worth more than a paycheck. My thoughts as of right now…….
Let’s teach our kids how to be real. Now how will we do that? well it all depends on your perspective on things. What do you call Real? Is it the name brand of your clothes, is it how you speak, or is it maybe how pretty you are? Let’s not be conformed to the way of the world but let us walk in truth. Meaning, don’t let this world tell you how you should live be your true genuine self boldly! God says that if we claim to be in fellowship with him then we must walk in the light because he is the light and that if we claim to have fellowship with him but walk in darkness (anything other than who we genuinely are) then we are made liars to what we proclaim about walking in fellowship with God and the truth is not in us. So do yourselves a favor today and be who you truly are and the blood of Jesus his son will purify you from all sin. Free yourself!
1 John 1:5-7 New International Version (NIV)
Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.
Time is Sooooo Beautiful! I mean just take a moment to think about what time actually does. I’ll name a few things: heals, restores, gives your soul the rest it’s been needing for a long time, refreshes, (etc.) just to name a few. One thing for sure is you can always count on Time to give you exactly what it is you’ve been needing and longing for for a very long time. So don’t be anxious about anything! just let Time be your very best friend as it goes by then in due time, you will have what you’ve been longing for…..My thoughts 🙂
Philippians 4:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Letting go can be difficult because in life we find it easier to stay close to what’s familiar than to let go and allow ourselves to be exposed to something new. However, in doing that we miss out on “LIFE”. Letting go is the best thing you can do for yourself it’s liberating! You’ll find once you do it that it’s actually not as bad as you think 🙂 Try it and see….
Here is one my favorite bible verses to help you let go of whatever is holding you back from living your best life:
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
I hope this helps you to let go today…..not tomorrow….but today.
Let’s teach our kids how to always ask for Help. Help it’s a 4 letter word that is not used so often as it should be. We don’t ask for help as much these days and I wonder why? Is it due to wanting to portray a certain image, Is it because we have what is called Pride that holds us back from wanting help but not asking for it? I could go on, but I’m sure you all get the point. Let’s be the example for our children and not be afraid to ask for Help in any situation in Life, because let’s face it we cannot do this thing called Life alone. My thoughts for today……
Let’s teach our children to “NOT FIT IN”! God has given all of us something special that we should be proud of. However, not all of us or at least not yet have come to the realization of that, and those are the people I want to speak to. Don’t ever be ashamed of who God made you to be because God made you and because HE made you, you are ENOUGH! Never think you are less than or anything other than what God says you are.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14
Don’t you know that we are Gods greatest creation out of everything that he made we mean the most to him.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
So don’t ever think of yourself as less than because you are just the opposite in Gods eyes, and what other eye would even matter anyways besides Gods. Be blessed and know that God loves you just the way you are so please, don’t fit in just BE YOU!
Let’s teach our kids about Boredom, what do you do with it? Well…….that’s solely up to YOU. It can just be a time of nothing or a time of creation in the most unique ways. I (with the help of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour) try to use my boredom wisely and creatively. It’s actually more simple than you think to be creative and unique. I believe that we as humans overthink it too much instead of just BEING, just whatever is in YOU pull it out so to speak, and bring it into the world! Because remember YOU are unique and creative. So don’t let let Boredom get you, YOU get Boredom!
Ecclesiastes 2:24 King James Version (KJV)
24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.
Let’s teach our children about “Feelings” we all have them. We all feel different things within ourselves, some things we share some we do not either way we’re always feeling something. One thing for sure is if we chose to live off of how we felt then boy oh boy, we would be some kind of messed up! LOL! Which brings me to my conclusion, we cannot base our lives off of what we’re feeling at any given moment, I mean because let’s just face it, our feelings change 24/7! and that’s the truth! There is a concrete solid all powerful being that we can base our life off of and that being’s name is Jesus Christ. He’s way better to rely on than a mere “feeling”. Get to know him 🙂 he’s waiting.
Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered (Prov. 28:26).
This is some wonderful insight for everyone today!
Let’s teach our children how to not follow the way of the world with all of the adorning they put on to be pretty to feel accepted, let’s show them how it’s more important to look pretty on the inside than the outside and how their outside appearance does not constitute who they are. Have you ever thought of how it might be if we had to put clothes on our inner body like we do our outer body? Well I have, I just had a thought that made me wonder how people would including myself would dress. I know this sounds strange but hey I see different as exciting! After all, we do have a inner person that needs just as much attention dressing up as our outer person does if not more if you ask me. My thoughts for today.
1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
